Peter concentrates his practice in estate-planning, with a special interest in the legacy issues impacting artists and creatives. Peter graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2004, followed by a judicial clerkship with the Hon. Lis M. Rau in Philadelphia. He recently completed his LLM in Taxation from Boston University School of Law, with a concentration in Estate Planning.
Pro bono service and volunteer work are a passion for Peter, and he regularly volunteers with Legal Services of Northwest Jersey and the NJ Wills for Heroes program, assisting both low-income residents and first responders with life planning documents such as wills, powers of attorney, and advanced healthcare directives. He is also a member of the Pro Bono Committee for the New Jersey State Bar Association.
While Peter's early interest lay in litigation, years of working in the creative and nonprofit industries gave him considerable practical exposure to the tax and legacy issues facing a broad spectrum of artists and entrepreneurs. That has translated into a passion for problem-solving for clients facing all manner of estate-planning questions, with an eye to helping them achieve comfort and security in their planning and decisions.
Peter is a resident of South Orange with his wife, two dogs, and a newborn on the way. He is also a jazz saxophonist who occasionally performs in the New York metro area.
